The CFP Difference
Conquer Fitness & Performance is a private personal training facility located conveniently near 121 and DNT in Frisco. We specialize in helping people age 30+ lose fat, get stronger, and have more energy without fad diets, endless cardio, or high impact workout routines.
We offer 3 levels of exclusivity and privacy in training.
- The first is Small Group Personal Training, we've created a unique system that combines all the benefits of 1-on-1 personal training with the camaraderie and fun-atmosphere of group training.
- Second, we have Semi-Private Training. This is where you will meet with a trainer and map out an individualized plan based on your specific goals and needs. You will then train 1-3x per week in a session with 1-3 other people where the trainer will take each of your through your individual programs simultaneously.
- Lastly, we have our 1-on-1 personal training. This is obviously where you would receive the most individualized coaching and training and is perfect if you have a history of injuries or surgeries you need to work around, or just enjoy the privacy of a 1-on-1 coach.
We are experts in helping busy professionals like you and have catered our workout programs toward your needs and availability. To accommodate your busy schedule, we offer training sessions 7 days a week, and can help you get great results in a little as 3 days/week!
All members receive nutrition coaching, including a customized nutrition plan, as part of their membership.
They say you can't out-train a bad diet, and it's true. However, dieting does not mean starving yourself and restricting yourself from all of your favorite foods. Our nutrition coaching is designed to teach you how to create a healthy and balanced diet that does not limit food sources, for a sustainable long-term approach to healthy weight control habits.
Medical History and Injury Assessment
Another added benefit all members receive is a 30 minute 1-on-1 consultation with Dr. John Dougherty, PT, DPT, OCS where he will review your medical history with you and discuss any previous injuries or surgeries.
It is not uncommon for many people to be hesitant to exercise with a trainer for fear that they may get injured. This fear is not unfounded as most trainers do not have the educational background to deal with nagging injuries or a past medical history that includes one or more surgeries. At CFP, Dr. Dougherty will review any concerns you may have and teach you modifications or alternative exercises that you can perform to avoid exacerbation of any previous injuries.
Working 1-on-1 with a personal trainer can be very beneficial for many people, but one of the added benefits of small group training is that you become part of a community of like minded individuals with similar goals.
